Parallel Floristry Online: Self-Paced Video Course
This course was built for people who cannot attend in-person workshops but want more than a YouTube tutorial. Every module is filmed from a working florist's perspective — real stems, real problems, real solutions. No studio lighting tricks that make it look easier than it is.
What is covered across 8 modules
The course starts with the logic behind parallel design and works through mechanics, stem selection, colour grouping, hand-tied construction, and container arrangements. The final two modules cover event-scale application and troubleshooting common failures.
Each module includes a filmed demonstration, a written summary, and a practical task. You submit photos of your work for written feedback from the instructor within 5 business days.
What you need at home
- Fresh flowers — a shopping list is provided for each module
- Basic floristry tools — secateurs, tape, wire
- A container or kenzan for arrangement modules
The course is self-paced with no expiry date on access. Most students complete it across 6 to 8 weeks, working one module per week.
